About the Porchdog Choir

The Porchdog Choir is a new Toronto band made up of four veteran musicians: drummer Bill Hedefine, guitarist /harmonica player John Keating, bassist Gary Krantz and guitarist Stephen Neale. They’ve quickly progressed from an informal musical workshop to having their debut, self-titled CD of fourteen original songs for sale on iTunes.?

With two principal songwriters and two lead vocalists, plus all four members often singing together, each of their songs has a distinct voice. Their music is a melting pot of rock and roll, country, blues, jazz, folk, rock, even pop yet they’ve developed a unique sound all their own. Their 100% Canadian content CD showcases their strong, timeless songs and contains a wide variety of styles. They call it: “original music with roots”.?

Their live shows are tight, energetic and dynamic. They will be promoting their new CD at various venues around Toronto and are anxious to get back into the studio to record their next batch of songs. Keep an eye out for The Porchdog Choir!
